Adoptable Dog of the Week - KC

Everybody who meets KC loves him, even the folks who don’t want to love him because he is a bully breed.
This is one fantastic, sweet chunk of love. Every negative stereotype of an American Staff or Pit bull you may have, throw it out the window. This boy loves people, he is smart, obedient, potty trained, and walks beautifully on leash. He sits for treats, and at meals he will sit/stay until given permission to eat. KC deals fantastically with other dogs, and is living with two very dominant female dogs (including a 120lb Bullmastiff!).
KC has met many other Furry Friends foster dogs, tiny and big, and gets along well with them all. KC is respectful of kids and grandparents alike. He has had full run of his foster home since day one with no issues. Kids 12+, cats unknown. He loves to chew and needs very tough chew toys (can chew up kong toys) and daily exercise (about 1 hour brisk walk/jog).

Gender: Male
Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier Mix
Age: 3 years 6 months
Size: 63 lbs.

If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area and want to give this sweet boy a forever home, please contact Furry Friends Rescue.

Adoptable Dog of the Week - Sheba

Sheba was rescued by Furry Friends Rescue in October of 2010. She is super friendly and great with people and other dogs. She walks beautifully on leash, knows some commands and is very obedient. She is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. Sheba has an endless supply of love and smiles, is wonderfully sweet, smart and eager to learn. She will bark when left alone, so doggie day care is best if you work all day. She is very playful and can jump up and down with ease. Sheba still needs house-training, and a home with a yard would be best to let her out often. Sheba also needs a strong leader to continue her training and to keep her from becoming too overprotective. At doggie day care, she is great with all dogs. Kids 10 yrs+.

Gender: Female
Breed: Miniature Pinscher / Chihuahua (Long Haired) Mix
Age: 6 years 5 months
Size: 12 lbs.

If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area or know someone who does and wants a sweet loving dogs who needs a little bit a training, please contact Furry Friends Rescue.

About Us

My name is Kylie and I'm the owner and operator of The Willow Goose, a pet boutique featuring quality handmade dog and cat collars, leashes, toys and other fun items. My two Quality Assurance Officers, Henry (a.k.a Goose) and Willow make sure all of our items are up to doggy code :)

I'm a big believer in animal rescue, as both Henry and Willow were, and spend the little extra time I have volunteering for Furry Friends Rescue in the Bay Area. 10% off all the profits made at The Willow Goose is also donated to rescue organizations.

My two little four-legged inspirations keep me on my toes and drive me to make quality pet accessories for everyone's favorite furry family members!
